To start the creation process, please go to our Sign Up page. Choose the "Create Account" option and simply follow the instructions to input all the information for your account. Please be certain that the information you provide is correct as false information may make it more difficult to recover your account or password should the need arise. In certain situations, false information may also result in permanent account closure.


Authentication Key

At this point you must enter the unique key that is located within your World of Warcraft packaging. Any questions you may have in regards to this key should be detailed within the Authentication Keys section.


Contact Information

This information should be created under the name of an adult. If at any time you must contact our Billing and Account services team we would need to speak with the registered owner to discuss any account specific details.


Payment Method

Select the type of payment that you wish to use for your subscription. You can view a list of available payment types here.


Billing Details

Now you must supply more detailed information on the payment option you have chosen. Credit card users are able to choose from a list of Subscription Options. Prepaid Game Card users must now enter the code under the scratch able surface.


Account Creation

At this point you may now choose the account name and password used to login to the game. This unique account name is only used when entering the game itself and does not have to be the same as any of your characters names. If you need help setting up your password please refer to our section on Password Security.


Account/Billing Verification

Double check that the information you entered in is accurate and correct. Some information can not be changed once the account has been created.


Account Creation Complete

We highly recommend that you print out the confirmation of your creation for your own records. Keep this information in a safe place that no one but your self has access to.

Go Play!

You may now begin to play World of Warcraft on the account you have created. In addition, you can maintain and check the status of your account at any time through your account management page.


To begin play use the World of Warcraft game you had installed on your computer. It will ask for the account name and password you had originally setup during the account creation process. Once you are successfully logged in you will be able to create your first character on the realm of your choice and begin the adventure.
